Byline Refund Policy
How Byline reviews subscription, renewal, purchased Ink, and digital-value refund requests.
Last updated: May 18, 2026
1. Overview
NHL AI Establishment is the seller of record for standard online purchases. Moyasar is our payment processor, not a reseller or merchant of record. Refund decisions are made by Byline under this policy; Moyasar executes the resulting refund back to your original payment method.
Refund handling may depend on applicable law, card network and payment-scheme rules, and the terms shown at checkout. Chargebacks raised with your bank or card issuer are resolved under those network rules, and we will provide transaction records as required.
This policy applies to standard online purchases of Byline subscriptions, renewals, purchased Ink, plan upgrades, and other digital value unless a written order or checkout-specific term says otherwise.
2. Initial subscription purchases
Under the Saudi E-Commerce Law, you may withdraw from a purchase within seven (7) days of the transaction and receive a refund, except where an exception in that law applies. One such exception covers digital content or services that begin immediately with your express consent and acknowledgment that your withdrawal right is lost once delivery starts. Because Byline grants access instantly on payment, we ask for that consent at checkout. If we did not obtain it, your seven-day statutory right applies.
Separately from and in addition to that statutory right, refund requests on an initial subscription purchase made within 14 days may be reviewed case by case. Review may consider applicable law, the reason for the request, technical issues, fraud risk, refund abuse, and whether the service, Ink, credits, exports, publishing capacity, or other digital value was used or consumed.
Byline may decline discretionary refunds where an account has substantially or fully consumed the purchased plan, included Ink, purchased Ink, credits, exports, publishing capacity, or other digital value, unless a refund is required by applicable law or approved by the payment provider or merchant of record.
3. Renewals, upgrades, and purchased Ink
Renewals after the initial subscription purchase, purchased Ink packs, overage usage, plan upgrades, and partial months are generally non-refundable unless required by law or approved by the payment provider or merchant of record.
Using all or substantially all included or purchased Ink is treated as substantial consumption of digital value for refund review. This does not limit refund rights that cannot be waived under applicable law or the payment provider's rules.
4. Statutory rights
This policy does not limit statutory refund, withdrawal, chargeback, or consumer rights that cannot be waived.
Where applicable law gives you withdrawal rights that can be limited only by express consent and acknowledgment for immediate access to digital content or services, Byline will seek the required consent before immediate service starts, including through Moyasar's checkout where applicable. If required consent is not captured, your statutory withdrawal rights continue to apply even if Ink or digital value has been used.
5. Approved refunds and access
Approved refunds may result in immediate downgrade, removal of unused credits, reversal of plan features, or termination of access to refunded digital value.
Refund requests may be made from billing settings in the product, or by contacting Byline support at support@byline.work.
